Origin Story is the tale of an Asian American comic book writer who, when forced to update the derogatory Mr. Chang for his company, goes on a soul-searching mission to find out what it means to be a hero in his community. The script was a finalist in the 2004 Ivy Film Festival Short Screenplay Competition.
